DC Comics Dark Knight was released in one of Square-Enix famous toy line - Playarts Kai. Batman was released together with PAK Versions of
Green Lantern and Wonderwoman in which I do not know If I would still get. Besides, finding them nowadays are so hard and they had become
so expensive in some stores. Well anyway, just like the previous PAK/PA from other series Square-enix never fails to amaze me with that
great detailing and sculpt. These figures are in a scale of 1/6, and taller than the old Batman PA's. A few days later after it's released a Red Variant was
announced and can now be bought on some stores - He reminds me of Thomas Wayne, do you agree?
So, let's check what we have for now...
The Box was a Flip-Cover Box with the Dark Knight's skethed Face. What does Kai means anyway? it's Written in Kanji - am I right? - over there... I think it's means restoration or something
The Back of the Box shows Wonderwoman and Green Lantern - as I mentioned before they were released togther with this Batman.
Your Package should included the Figure, an Unassembled Sealed Stand, and these weapons - a katana, a bat rail gun or something - 2 open hands one hand for holding stuff, by default the figures hand are clenched - and a Batarang
Front View
Side View - Left - look at that sculpt, can you see his sexy butt? lol
Back View
A Close Up on what we can see on his face - you see? The sculpt on this one was amazing - What a handsome Batman Figure.
Side View
The bat on his chest was in a right size - not to small nor large - and he looks pretty much armored.
Of Course the three spikes on his hand will always be there, although on this one - I don't know if this was a defect but the middle one was not aligned.
The Cape is Movable, you can sepearate it and extend it as much as you want - jsut don't over do it PAKS are a little Joint Sensitive
Movable head, arms, legs, waist - what more can you ask for? It's pretty much poseable.
Batman holding this Rail Gun whatever I don't know what kind of gun is that - And on a Batman point of view, I think thats too big for him. Your a Ninja wearing a Cape, Why briing a big thing like that?
This Katana was my favorite, although I am not used to see Batman holding a Katana.
Batarang - ...
Now, what is this you say? A friend told me, one of the silliest thing he saw in this Figure is this - Hooks on his Cape. And yes he is right, your a Ninja with a cape and it's already a burden and you even put a hook? How can you stealth with metals clinging in you? What if it get caught into something? Seriously, why the Hook?
Anyway, on an overall verdict - this was an awesome figure to have specially if you're a fan of the Dark Knight . But don't think too much if what series this costume appeared.
It's also good for an Photoshoots - I enjoyed taking pictures of it....
Silhouette... but I failed -_-
Lastly, If you wonder what was the color scheme - Here is a clearer shot with my camera's flash turned on. The scheme was actually Black and Shades of Blue which was Batman's original color scheme except it doesn't have the yellow background batman logo.
Overall, the Sculpt was Good, Details will amaze you, it's poseable with a little bit of patience but still flexibility is somehow limited. :)
