Bandai HG 1/144 High Mobility Zaku II 'Psycho Zaku' - "Thunderbolt"

During the Lenten Season, I found this flyer saying about a local Gundam Model Kit Competition organized by a local mall. So, the rules are simple: Ouf the box build, Use of Bandai Decals are allowed and changing color schemes but modification and adding is not. So basically It's Gunpla Modeling Basic Skills Contest - well judging was still to come and I'll try my best to take shots of all those creative kits from different modelers! So, this is also the first that I'll be entering such an event and here is my Entry from the Thudnerbolt Series, HG 1/144 Pyscho Zaku II. As a kit, yes this is way too satisfying since it had so many weapons that you would wish you can just play with it. Although what I didn't like was the Jonny Ridden-like color scheme - maybe a different and darker shade of red was better and what's more those yellow spikes over it left shoulder was already a Johnny Ridden Signature - well atleast for me it was. THe Large gas tanks, those multiple small cannons, those pair of cannons, pair of hands, a rifle and axe, 4 molotovs, landmines, arm extension and missiles - It was one hell of a mobile suit no wonder it was called as a psycho. Articaulation same as the other HGUC Zaku's but I really do think they had payed more attention to the fact that the backpack was so heavy that it actually had issues beneath it's torso. It had a problem carrying it over. The Gold Thrusters was awful, and needs a dash of paint. And as a last remark, don't worry this one is positive It has a nice set of Decals.
