Bandai HGBF 1/144 Beargguy F (Family)

By Far, the most cutest and adorable Gunpla I have! And just in time before it appears in the series, Mirai Kamiki's Gunpla - Beargguy F (Family). And yes, amongst the 3 Beargguys I have this one stands the most. And as said and can be seen on the Boxart that this was based on Beargguy 2 which was never release and didn't even exist only in the show. If you'll look closely in the boxart a blurry picturee of a box named Beargguy II (2) can be seen, well it's never too alte if they are still planning to release it.

Beargguy F or Family portraits a Mother Bear carrying her Baby Bear around. Mamber is called Mamagguy - colored in white which actually sucks. I don't dislike pure white Gunplas - but I have problems keeping and maintaining them clean. The hardest part was spraying flat clear (matte) over it at the same time keeping it away from dirt in which I failed. Upclose my work is dirty thats why I am planning to obtain another one of this. You may have notice this is the same Beargguy III (San) we all know except it's in white and no large ribbon can be found.

The little one is called Petitgguy, a small cute little Gunpla Bear - flatten it in matte and you'll see he looks too good to eat. What's amazing is it has actual articulation and can stand with proper balancing. Petitgguy has a separate hands for Mamagguy that makes her look like she is holding his child. And aside from those the same arm extender and expression stickers can be found inside the kit. Probably not much of a kit....

Lastly, Petitgguy has a chair like thing that can be attached to Mamagguy's back and be attached to Petitgguy. Then there is to it, and probably the only thing that would catch your attention to buy it is the word "Cute".

P-Bandai HGBF 1/144 Star Build Strike Gundam Ver.RG System

I was down a local toy shop then to my surprise I saw a bunch of P-Bandai on their stocks. I was choosing a various selection from Astraea, to P-Bandai SD's but their is this one thing that really caught my eye and got me pulling out my wallet and showing some bucks. First, whats in the box? The regular Star Build Package will include you the Blue Plabsky Wings together with the Star Build Strike unit so in order to complete your kit you have to separately buy the HGBF Universe Booster in order to get the Power Gate. And you'll end up having two Universe Booster. Now, in the P-Bandai version the kit includes both the Plavsky Wing and Power Gate inside the Box - it should have been that way in the first place. Next, ver RG runners are composed of Pearl coated runners, clear parts and not jsut celar but glittery clear parts and some normal parts. Yes, you read it right normal runners. The Pearl coated runners where for the white parts while the clear parts are for the arts that are colored blue and red and of course the Plavsky Wing and Power Gate. The normal runners are for the grey joints and mostly the gun. Now, what exactly did change? Well probably in the series Star Build Strike has this mode called "RG System" wherein he could generate and focus Plaavsky disperssions in some of its parts or somehow like that haha not pretty accurate huh? But yeah thats more to it, in order to identify it RG System has activated parts of it's frame turns to blue. Well, personally I liked this version with the removal of the Pearl coated parts though, doesn't look right with all that shine and stuff but the RG System parts were cool all in all. :)

P-Bandai Online Hobby Shop Exclusive: RG 1/144 GN-001 Gundam Exia (Trans Am Mode) Gloss Injection Ver.

Before anything else, It's been a while since I have updated my blog so for starters here is a P-Bandai Exclusive for you! Basically it's not mine it's a friend kit, so thanks to him for allowing me to play with his toys - Well, mostly it's the same figure as the the first RG Exia which I already posted here with a different colour that can be identified as it's Trans-am mode in the series.

And mostly that's the only difference you'll get - don't even expect something special inside. No, there is no free toy inside or anything.

And If you're thinking that there was already a Trans-am version of these kits, instead from being an RG - How they are different? Well, basically aside from the details - it's colour is much sttronger and was more accurate than the HG Trans Am kits. Well they are the same Pinkish variant but the gloss effect did a much more realistic effect.

Well it did fit the prefectly good details and yeah, I think this was much better than the normal mode.

And of course, you'll met the same issue as the first one - hard to pose, brittle parts, etc ... And an additional "You cannot top coat me because I am glossy!"

Well, If you ask me having both kit is not bad at all since any of the two aint look bad at all.

[Bandai] - SHFiguarts - Sailor Saturn

I have been away for awhile, so updates are a little late. Anyway, our next toy in the line for today is the sixth sailor senshii figure from Bandai SHF- yes the 6th figure - Hotaru Tomoe also known as the Sailor Saturn - well for the fact that I had to tighten my budget this past few months I managed to still get this pretty looking figure. I had to sold some figures just to have the decent amount to pay for her. But yes, I have no regrets - this cutie is awesome!

Well, I did promise that I won't be posting any more figure boxes to limit the images on a post but just to show everyone that this is authentic - i'll make an exception.

Never forget that as much you can check the stickers and shake the box before buying it, the usual SHF Sailormoon KO's have an extra feature - the shakeable head.

There we go, a manual, a set of hands, her action stand, Tomoe and of course my favourite - her staff! Unlike the previous ones she has her staff! Oh joy!

Aside from the staff, this thing caught my attention. Well I am not actually sure of this is the first or probably a version feature (US or Japanese) since the other figures I have never had this. So, what am I talking about? The hands has some kind of holder for each pair which makes it more oganized.

What's the cinch? Actually no difference on the articulation - The staff was harder to carry since it's slide upon the gaps between the fingers.

But it makes a great balancer for quick poses such as this.

Nothing much has changed.

The details well a lot better and paint dubs and mis aligned paints were a little less.

I do agree the first time I saw this, It took me awhile before I noticed she was cute. And one of the best parts was the height comparison between each sailor was accurate.

And just like Jupiter - this one is a bit photogenic too!

Bandai - HGBF 1/144 - PPGN-001 Gundam Amazing Exia

Let's get back to Gunplas - this here my friend is Amazing Exia the predecessor of Dark Matter. Took me a while before I finally took the kit and build it since I was too lazy to do so. The PPGN-001 Gundam Amazing Exia is a custom gunpla from the anime series, Gundam Build Fighters, and is based on the incomplete A5 model developed by the Plavsky Particle System Engineering. It is piloted by Meijin Kawaguchi.

So basically the obvious difference between the two is the color. From the original blue colour of the Exia - mixed with a lighter green chest, pointed shoulders and doubled padded knee caps.

The head was also changed, the GN sword was changed and the addition of the booster was added. This is with the comparison with the original Exia - but in terms of the difference with the Dark Matter - the change was more in the color + the difference within the weapons. Amazing Exia has GN Sword + a sword on the left while Dark Matter has GN Sword with no blade but instead it will act as a gun and thermal blade and 2 Additional swords; Fire and Ice.

Movements was still the same. Articulation are the same - from Exia. Could have been better if the articulation was the same as the Double 00 Kit.

But in terms of the design and colour combination - this one is probably better than the original Exia and Dark Matter.

One thing the Dark Matter didn't have is this Shield.

The generic sword it has - as I said Dark Matter has 2 Swords: Fire and Ice.

GN-Sword - unlike Dark Matter this one has a blade.

Amazing Booster same as the Dark Matter Booster - looks like Latios and Latias from Pokemon.

Well, so there you go my Amazing Exia done within 5 hours coated in Matte.

Note: this was a quick post so any errors in my post is due to laziness to check and compare both kits.

[Bandai] SHFiguarts - Sailor Jupiter

"Agent of Love and Courage, the pretty sailor suited soldier Sailor Jupiter! In the name of Jupiter, I will punish you!" Meet Makoto Kino aka Sailor Jupiter the fifth Sailor Senshi in the Manga and Third in the anime adaptation. Well probably her delayed release made Sailor Fans go rant - why? the issue is, SHF Sailor Venus was released earlier than her, they believed that she should have come in first. Well probably, the manufacturers took the order in the manga rather than the order in the anime adaptation. But enough of that, atleast she was released. She would be my fifth Sailor Senshi and probably would be the last since Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are no longer regular release but will already be P-Bandai Online Exclusives - well obviously if they would release Chibi Moon and Tuxedo Mask the probability of them being Online Exclusives are quite high.

Box depicts the Sailor's color scheme, as for Jupiter the box is coloured in light green with a dash of pink. Takte note of the Toei Animation Certificate sticker and the Tamashii Nation Sticker to somehow avoid bootlegs.

Back of the box shows the preview of everything inside, well one thing I never liked about this figures are the lack of accessories itself. Maybe because they are in their first stage but it's like buying a single doll everytime. If I rememeber correctly, Jupiter has a lance/spear which would be great if they included it.

Contents - The heart shaped stand written with Jupiter with Symbol, Bangs with antennae and 5 pair of hands and 3 more faceplates.

Details - Getting an image of Jupiter [no not the planet.] as a reference would be a great help although probably useless. See, details are good - hair sculpt has swivelling peg and looks quite good and doesnt limit any head movement like Mars. Colour is brown same as Jupiter's hair and the Uniform is great just like the other Senshiis. The Pink bow is a little lighter though but fits perfectly in the colour combination and for the green parts, they are a bit shiny in a special kind of way just like the others. And she has the most awesome boots of them all.

And you should be asking now, Jupiter should be taller than the others and is she? Is she taller than the others? Yes, she is a cm higher than the others.

Here we see her in her final attack Jupiter Thunder pose thing, with the bangs with the antennae and the angry faceplate that looks really BAD. Yes, it does look bad.

She looks like a grumpy, lifeless teen when she wears it.

But in some point comparing her to the other Sailor Senshi figures that I have [namely the four] she was the best of them all. Well atleast for me she is the best. Why? No, it's not about the articulation itself since they all have the same joints but it's because of the details that somehow affect articulation too. First, comparing it to Sailormoon her hair doesn't get in the way. Comparing to Sailor Mars, we all know the problem with Mars is her hair gets in the way over the neck and looks like she has no neck at all unlike Jupiter who has a longer neck. Comparing to Sailor Mercury which has a bad hair sculpt. And finally, comparing her to Sailor Venus who has a bad paint job this one has better. Those are my opinion.

And for some reason, I find her Photogenic and easier to pose. Quite look cute on the camera, the cute colour scheme of green and pink which is not quite common.

So, is she worth getting? Well, if you are collecting them the answer is obviously Yes. If you just want to have her and are looking for a Jupiter figure - Yes, probably she would be one of the best you would find out in the market for now we still have to wait for other toy lines to release their version so we could fully compare.

P-Bandai Exclusive: MG 1/100 ZGMF-X56S/ι Destiny Impulse Gundam R [Regenes]

ZGMF-X56S/ι Destiny Impulse Gundam R or "Regenes" a variant of ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam that appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray R - a side story published together with Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny Astray B to celebrate the release of the HD Remeastered version of the Anime Series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Now actually me and my guys have a little info of this so It was so hard to give details - Note: The kit was a P-Bandai Exclusive released way back February 2014. Note: We will try to give more info about the kit, for the meantime everything here will do. Post is pending for updates.

The Box Art colored in purple -everything in purple - well, one of the ways the Manufacturers do just to say they were exclusives.

The Core Splendor - yes it has a core splendor with a tiny little pilot in front. Anyone know who he/she is? The Core Splendor can be attached at the back. A fact, the core splendor is no longer included in the Regenes Manual - Why? Because it was no longer included in the configuration system of Regenes - No more formation mode although yes it's still possible in the kit.

Silhouette Pack - unlike the other units in the Second Stage Series, this one is similar to Strike which uses Silhoutte packs to adapt in different situation.

DI Adaga - The kit also introduces DI Adaga, a variant of Regenes which has a Mono Eye Setup.

Core Splendor Attached,

One of the interetsting things in the kit is it's Shoulder -Torso Connection whcich makes it possible to do a perfect 90 degree rotation upward in the shoulder caps.

No worries though, it is kept hidden, you just have to pull it up to the the 90 degree thing.

And a different leg-waist joint.

There you go, DI Aga with Core Splendor and no Silhoutte pack.

Finally, Destiny Impulse R - well probably not much in the details but arent the colour scheme cute?

To cute that I can't help to pose it like this "chu~".

Articulation were good for the fact it does have an amazing 90 degree shoulder and details are great just don't get lazy in putting those decals. The decals were the most annoying part since they were harder to place.

Probably the only problem you will be facing is the lack of support for the Silhoutte Pack. It was to heavy for the waist so you might need to do a little fixing around.
