[Bandai] HGUC 1/144 - Full Armor RX-0 Unicorn Gundam [Destroy Mode]

My 4th HGUC Unicorn in the shelf - as a result of the previous GMKC2014 I was inspired to do much more better so I practiced a bit with this one. Can't say it turn out to be good though.
The RX-0 Full Armor Unicorn Gundam (aka Full Armor Unicorn, Unicorn) is the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam equipped with a staggering array of weapons. The unit is piloted by Banagher Links.

The box was as large as Sinanju's Box with FAU attacking with all he got.

Let's see what we got here: Green Psycho-Framed Unicorn, 3 Shield (1 closed cover for the back) with Gatling Guns, 2 Hyper Cannons, Beam Rifle, 2 Gas tank which really is a pain when posing so I hid them in the box, 3 Stands, 1 Y stand and finally some justice - it has 2 beam Sabers

So, let's get to the first question - What is the Difference between this one and the Expo Limited Pyscho Frame aside from the weapons? The Expo Limited Green Psycho Framed Unicorn aside from being the first one to arrived, it's body is already furnished. Already coated with a clear gloss effect unlike this one that has the regular plastic of Gunplas. Second Question - can I combine the Expo Limited Pyscho Frame and Full Armour Unicorn Normal to come up with this one? Actually you can combine them BUT you'll have less shield.

And Yes, what I did modified. First, I changed the regular white to flat white and top coated it with Matte. It depicts the shiny effect that the regular plastic does in which I do really hate. Next, Panel lines are less and they are harder to apply on a flat white paint but creates a darker line in which for me it does.

Then, I colored the Red missiles to Honda Red to make it brighter then combined it with Dull Black.Then change the Gray parts to primer Gray.

Then, for the Gas tanks - I did failed on panel lining this things since it was ahrder to rotate and the pen keeps on messing up.

But, I painted the thrusters to platinum same with the thrusters at Unicorns back, legs and back skirt..

And changed the Gatling guns - with a combination of dull black and platinum. Although the shine loss when I was stupid enough to spray matte to it making it light grey and extracted the shiny effect.

Overall, it took me a week to finish since I was too busy with work.

By the way, if you have watched HGUC Episode 7 - you should knowthat those shield are funnels. And floats all over to shoot down enemy mobile suit.

And it can do this - a circular shield to protect Unicorn.

As an additional info, P-Bandai released the red version of the kit.

Gundam Unicorn Destroy Mode - Left, Gundam Unicorn Destroy Phene - Middle, Gundam Unicorn Destroy Mode Green psycho Frame - Right One of my Hauls last Christmas Toycon, I haven't expected to acquire this since it was GFT and I thought it would be harder to find. But Luck came in to me again, and thanks to that! I found a store with one alst stock of the Kit! Not much of a review though, since just like the Normal Unicorns, it only has a rifle, no beam sabers. The exception of the 2 Armed De and the Blue Psycho Frame.

Small booklet where the story of the Phenex was told, and so as what they told me. Not really sure because it's in japanese.

So, as I said before it's the same kit just like the other Unicorns except for the Gold colored scheme, Blue Psycho Frame and2 Armed De. Oh, before I forgot the V-Fin is diferent. Too bad, I can no longer acquire the ANA version of Unicorn, It would be so awesome!

Yes, this is not the version with the Limited Edition Unicorn Headbase. Furthermore, this kit contains 1 Manual, 1 Sticker and 8 Runners

Unicorn [Destroy Mode]

After Assembling, the Unit has 1 Beam Rifle and 1 Shield [Not the Armed De]. Articulation of the Unit is good although it's harder to strike a pose because of it's rough design. And Neck articulation is quite bad because of having too much joints. Skirt armors at the back are not quite attached. And furthermore the lack of weapons of the kit is somehow annoying, imagine it has 4 beam saber holder but no beam saber at all [Beam Sabers are included in Unicorn Only]. And I noticed, that each runners are much softer than previous kits, maybe because of it's small designs that it turned to be brittle [not to mention, i didn't have to use any sidecutters at all].
