Another loose figure I bought together with Lord Thor is Wade Winston Wilson or probably much famously known as Deadpool - Chimichanga!
Deadpool - a product of the Weapon X Program, a mercenary and anti-hero appearing in various comic books and various teams
in the Marvel Universe. Deadpool has been one of my favorite not because he is a ruthless killing machine who doesn't die but it's
because he is too funny to boot! The later versions of Deadpool who talks to himself as always been so entertaining.

Marvel Legends - Blob Series - Asgardian Thor / Lord Thor
Lately in order to fill some gaps in my Marvel Legends Collection I were buying some loose figures from some sellers in the same
group. Well, the reason why is because some figures are too expensive to buy in it's sealed condition or the figure no longer exist
in the market and can only be bought to some collectors who are either streamling or some other reason. One of the finds I got is
this Lord Thor from the Marvel Legends Blob Series. The only problem on buying loose figures is sometimes some joints are already
loosen but for this case this one still has tight one, the previous owner must have taken care of it a lot. It has some little dust
though and another thing this one only has his Mjolnir - the original package has Thor's Axe with him.
Probably by now, you have heard the next Thor would be a female. Just to clarify some things "Thor won't be a female" instead he
is still in the series but can no longer wield Mjolnir - and If my sources are true the Female Wielder is someone from Thor's past.
Anyway, about Lord Thor - I don't have any idea which timeline did he cross but I know he is Thor. The Details was good, the Helm fits
his old face with his angry Asgardian Facial Expression. The design was similar to the original classic Thor although this one was made older
It's smaller than the ROML Thor but as bulky at it is. It's wearing a red asgardian cape that can be pulled out. The Hammers detail
is not the same as the Mjolnir design but instead it looks like a large chunk of concrete connected together with a long wood. I like
the hammers design though - I found much more realistic.
The Articulation was cool, arms are moveable legs and waist - the problem with it is there is so much limitation on how it can be posed because of the bulky body. And I wish the fingers was moveable. One more thing - I really hope the helm was removeable too.

Marvel Legends - Groot Series - Guardians of the Galaxy - Iron Man Godkiller Space Armor MK III
Another Guardians of the Galaxy figure, but this one is not yet in the movie but probably would show up - Iron Man's Space Armor MK III also known as "Godkiller".
Not to be confused with the Godkiller for Arno Stark [Lost brother of Tony] - Tony made this armor to move better in space when he joined the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Equipped with an AI called P.E.P.P.E.R and Stark Omniversal Multitasking Software that can't control his other suits from light years away.
Aside from the awful Gamora figure, this was one of the worst figure in the Groot Series - not to mention the worst Iron Man ML figure for me. Well they did had it near the design
of Space Armor MK III but probably it was missing some parts specifically the booster on the back. Head wasn't detailed enough and the paint was poorly done.
And as I said this line of ML's has soft Articulation joints on the arms and legs making it really bad to pose since it's vulnerable from breaking. Then this figure limits a lot of his pose - sample? it can't even raise it's arms.
So probably you'll get the idea....
And as you see? Back part has no detail or paint or whatsoever - and the only I had to get this was because of the BAF Part of Groot. Lacks Gimicks, articulation was bad - seriously not worth it.

Marvel Legends - Groot Series - Guardians of the Galaxy - Gamora the Most Dangerous Woman in the Universe
Another GOTG movie figure, Gamora played by Zoe Saldana - the adopted daughter of Thanos and the last of the Zen Whoberi Species. Also known as the "The Most Dangerous Woman in the Universe" - a member
of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Infinity Watch, Phalanx and United Front. Moving on, if you are familiar with comics Gamora - this is not what she looks like and far from it.
So, aside from it being too far from the original design of Gamora - this green thing has an awful articulation. Can't kick, can't do a decent pose, no nothing. Probably the most awful figure
in the Groot Series.
I 'm no longer criticize this figure - cause probably the only reason I took this was for Groot's BAF part. Well probably the best thing about this is she has a sword, the bad thing - she can't even hold it. This figure is not even worthy to be called "The most dangerous figure in the universe."

Marvel Legends - Groot Series - Guardians of the Galaxy - Drax The Destroyer
This is Drax, the Destroyer played by Dave Bautista in the film Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). If you ask me this is a different Drax since all through out the movie
he kept saying that his family was killed by Ronan the Accuser and not by Thanos which eventually changed later in the movie. We all know that the Comics Drax was
attacked by Thanos itself and was revived by Chronos. See Comic Drax here.
The design was based on the movie which really has a slight resemblance to Dave "Batista" Bautista. Unlike the comics Drax this one has a lot more tribal markings and
a better set of knives - and bulkier. One thing I noticed though, this one is already wearing the red pants which was worn in the final battle with Ronan's fleet - so what? The problem was among the set of figures
of the Guardians of the Galaxy, they were wearing different attires, so uniformity as a team doesn't look good. Rocket was wearing his orange jumpsuit while Gamora was wearing her blue
suit. Next, the dagger sheaths on the side of his boots was awesome, probably because it doesn't bend the knives unlike the old comic Drax.
In terms of articulation, this ain't bad either since it can move in freely - no parts are seriously limited from moving. The problem probably here is the issue with this batch ML's which has a soft connectors on the articulations. Prone to breaking and melting in extreme heat.
Who do you think will win?
And which one do you think is greener? :)

Marvel Legends X-Force X23 Custom Figure by prisz ver. 2
Prior to my previous post and another attempt to learn and create my own custom toy, here is another version of X23. Well, probably this time it's much more
cleaner and better than the first X23 that I made Can be found here.. To be fair
I'll criticize it far more than how I do on official toys.
First, let us list down the things I used for this project:
Why did I used ML Madame Hydra? At first when I was expecting the figure itself, I found it's design too plain that if you painted in flesh it looks naked. It's sculpt was flatter and no more bumpy parts are need to be remove. Then the Viper figures proportionality was already good and it only cost me half it's srp since it was on sale, I don't even have to look for good conditioned loose figure any more. See the butt part here? Are you getting what I mean?
Well probably most of the thing that I did was just to recolour the whole figure. Then tied some rubber over the boots and gloves to copy X23. Then attached Plaplates on both hands to create the claws. Not much of a work huh? The challenge was modifying it without breaking it apart. Yes, without breaking it apart - I was having a hard time removing the chest part and was afraid to destroy the figure so tapes and blu-taks will have to do to cover up the surfaces.
To be honest, the painting was bad. Details was crappy and the rubber sheets that I used on the Gloves and Boots wears off creating paint chips when scratched. Next, the joints chips down the black parts everytime it was move - the dull black acrylic paint was not a good idea. Then the face lacks the silver detail and red lined chips are visible. Sheesh I really need to practice painting and learn all about paints.
Articulation was still the same though, but since there was a problem in the chipping of the paint in the joint on the knee and ankle, I covered the ankle with the boots design that it now limits the ankles bent capability. And lastly, the claws - I was missing the claw on her foot since I can't find an Idea on how I will integrate it. Then the claw on the hand - notice the right claws are not properly aligned? Well, since I can't make her have a clenched fist I decided my to attached my crappy claws it that position. And since her hands is not even straight, I just though the claws shouldn't be straight either. Failed on the claw huh?
That's much about, so can you help me criticize it as well? So I can create reference on how I can enhance this skill? :)
- ML Madame Hydra (Viper) - this time instead of using the ML X23 which is bad in terms of sculpt I used this one instead which I found was perfect except for the hands.
- Spray Paints - namely platinum, dull black, red acrylic, tamiya flat flesh, primer and flat clears
- Epoxy
- Instant Glue
- pieces of rubbers
- Pla-plates - the one architects use
- a piece of chain
- Blu-tak

Marvel Legends - Infinite Series - BAF Groot - Groot
Probably, of the most unforgettable character in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy is the Monarch of Planet - Groot. Groot was actually an invader
from another planet which captures human for experimentation which was changed way back 2006 and was turned into a noble warrior. By this time
I am writing this, I still don't have the whole Guardians of the Galaxy set and the reason I already have this Build a Figure Groot is because I found
a loose one lurking around the market. Ain't he cute huh?
The Second Build-a-Figure in my collection Groot - if we should compare it along the movie the detail was accurate. In a sense he's a large tree, even the height goes well and those algae
on his body are good. Articulation however have some minor issues depending on the part you will get. This one has an issue over the right arm and having a hard time to rotate via 360 degress.
It still lack articulation though around the waist. Last, the pegs between the joints are so soft that it's too vulnerable from breakage so you might need to handle it with an added care.
He is a good photography subject, aint he?

The Return of Marvel Legends - Arnim Zola Series - Madame Hydra [Viper]
Our next figure is Ophelia Sarkissian also known as Madame Hydra and Viper. One of the elite of Hydra an enemy of both Avengers and the X-Men.
If ever your wondering, yes she was the on The Wolverine movie. I no longer have to do a history check since I'm sure most of you guys have seen
her on some of Marvel's Animated Series or Films - well she was the only green female general their. By the way, this figure has a Madame Masque Variant -
sharing the same mold and weapon.
Content check, we will have Viper with a big machine gun and a green pistol and Arnim Zola's Torso with Red Skull print (Madame Masque has Arnim Zola print). So, In details
it was somehow accurate although I don't like her face since it looks like she was intended to look bad. I also found some stocks where the head is actually deformed. Lucky for me
I had a good one. The machine gun was good although the pistol looks ridiculous colored in green.
Look at that ass - one of the best female ML sculpt I had seen from the shape of it's breast to it's butt and legs it was proportion. Articulation was good although unlike the male one's the problem are waist articulation. The rotation over the ab and breast is stupid since it deforms the figure. But this was indeed one of the best sculpt and articulation there is in terms of the ml female category. You'll know why on my preceding posts.
Viper: Hey! That's mine!
Viper: What the hell, I surrender.

The Return of Marvel Legends - Arnim Zola Series - Drax the Destroyer
So since the film Guardians of the Galaxy went over the theatres - old Marvel Legends toys such as this went sale for about half it's SRP. And here
your friendly-neighbourhood blogger and collector takes the opportunity to grab one of these old figure of Drax the Destroyer. Before we move on I did
a little background check on who is Drax anyway? No, not the movie version but the comic version Drax. Arthur Douglas also known as Drax is actually
a human whose family was attacked by Thanos. So, In need of a champion to battle Thanos - Kronos (an entity whose merged with the time and universe)
took Arthur's spirit and placed in a new body. Just a brief background check on who is Drax.
Let us begin, Hasbro's first version of Drax is based on the comic book appearance itself. So expect nothing but Drax, Two Knives and Arnim Zola's left leg. No he didn't
cut that it's a Build-a-Figure part.
Drax' original design is yes as green as the Hulk wearing blue pants that I think was the original Guardians of the Galaxy Uniform Pants - With two knife holster at his back. And of course he is bald with Red Tribal like linings.
Well probably this is one of the accurate ROML figures I have seen since Drax really has less details. The two knives are made of soft rubbers that it gets deformed every time it is sheathed at his back. As of today Hasbro still use soft rubber like plastics and hope they soon changed it since figure wise it aint good.
Articulation is not bad, it was highly pose-able and no threat of parts that would actually limits it's movement.
The thing though, He looks a lot slimmer than what he should be. Not comparing to the new Drax figure, he does look slimmer imagining that he is called a destroyer.
Drax meets the New Starlord.
But ignores it...
