P-Bandai HGBF 1/144 Star Build Strike Gundam Ver.RG System

I was down a local toy shop then to my surprise I saw a bunch of P-Bandai on their stocks. I was choosing a various selection from Astraea, to P-Bandai SD's but their is this one thing that really caught my eye and got me pulling out my wallet and showing some bucks. First, whats in the box? The regular Star Build Package will include you the Blue Plabsky Wings together with the Star Build Strike unit so in order to complete your kit you have to separately buy the HGBF Universe Booster in order to get the Power Gate. And you'll end up having two Universe Booster. Now, in the P-Bandai version the kit includes both the Plavsky Wing and Power Gate inside the Box - it should have been that way in the first place. Next, ver RG runners are composed of Pearl coated runners, clear parts and not jsut celar but glittery clear parts and some normal parts. Yes, you read it right normal runners. The Pearl coated runners where for the white parts while the clear parts are for the arts that are colored blue and red and of course the Plavsky Wing and Power Gate. The normal runners are for the grey joints and mostly the gun. Now, what exactly did change? Well probably in the series Star Build Strike has this mode called "RG System" wherein he could generate and focus Plaavsky disperssions in some of its parts or somehow like that haha not pretty accurate huh? But yeah thats more to it, in order to identify it RG System has activated parts of it's frame turns to blue. Well, personally I liked this version with the removal of the Pearl coated parts though, doesn't look right with all that shine and stuff but the RG System parts were cool all in all. :)

[Bandai] HGUC 1/144 RX-0 Gundam Unicorn (Destroy Mode) Deactive Clear Version

RX-0 Gundam Unicorn Deactive Clear [Destroy Mode] that was sold in Japan after Gundam UC Episode 7 Screening. But I guess this was sold to other places as well, just like here. This was sold as pre-ordered product during the GMKC2014 and UC Ep. 7 Screening by the event handlers. Took about 2 weeks, together with the other Exclusives but it was worth the wait. But first let's summarize the kit in one line
"Gundam-Unicorn-Clear-Bodied-Platinum-Psycho-Framed-Destroy-Mode"

The Box art looks cool enough to consider it as an exclusive - I don't like calling it Limited since they will still sell it or change its box anyway to diminish stocks. If my memory serves me well, this kind of box art format was already used in older kits that I saw over a local store and it cost highly valuable.

The built was reversed, instead of making the Psycho Frame clear - it was coloured in platinum and the body was made out of clear variations. It did serve a great effect and I like it better than before just how I wish I had the money to buy more at once since it will be harder to find then kit-bash it with other Unicorn variants

Well, as always the harder part in building clear kits was removing the nub marks since you can't hide it with paint not unless you're using clear paints as well.

And, despite it being an awesome variant - I hate to see that it doesn't have any beam saber with it just like the regular Unicorn Destroy variants.

There you go - Now the next mission is finding the 7-11 version and ANA. Not sure if I would be able to get my hands on them but it's worth a try. :)

Marvel Universe 3.75" Ultimate Gift Set 5-Pack

A couple of weeks a ago, Isaw these guys on sale for like $22 a set, and I wanted to get them for some reason an aura from the unknown was dragging me not to. Then A few more weeks after watching AS2 and getting myself the MLIS Spidey 2 I found these guys on sale for like $15 so what the hell, I'm getting them! So, maybe why people arent buying these set is mainly the figures itself was so basic looking that it really doesn't have anything much to offer. But actually it does have something that would make you rethink why you should get it. But first let's see what's inside one by one.

See, this is box and an awfully bad box too - not much of a design and really looks old. Superheros in their Classic suits.

Thor

The Asgardian fellow, wielder of the Mighty Mjolnir - looks like the old Thor in the comics and looks more a lot like the the old release of MU Thor. Except for a minor change in the yellow part which was colored deeper and a  not so different head - the wings differs a little from other classic Thor MUs.

Wolverine

The fan favored ferocious beast of all time - well, wearing his brown-yellow classic scheme that looks a lot like Daken. And he is a little fat, but giving credits to the oh so flexible pivot. But please whoever designed these, we don't need that sword, be real man what would you do with a katana when you got sharp claws on both hand? Even if that's Muramasa' s blade we prefer his Hands clenched.

Spiderman

The Greatest hero - So, at first Iw as so excited because these guy has this packing web bag ang web like props but all those were suddely turned down - his articulation sucks! he can't move his wait unlike the first release. And so on, details was as crappy as crap.

Ironman

The billionaire Philantropist - His classsic retro armor, but because of the crappy details he looks like he lost a part of Stark's financial stocks already. Face details was bad as if he was having a bad day and what's with the blast effect? He looks like a Fireman.

Captain America

Good old red, white and blue - No, not Captain Puerto Rico but our good old capt! well, yes it was bad too, paint job was sick, But here is the good part. See that shield? The Translucent Captain America Shield.This shield was Exclusive to this set. So, if you're thinking getting this is not that worth it - think again. You won't get that shield anywhere.
