P-Bandai HGBF 1/144 Star Build Strike Gundam Ver.RG System

I was down a local toy shop then to my surprise I saw a bunch of P-Bandai on their stocks. I was choosing a various selection from Astraea, to P-Bandai SD's but their is this one thing that really caught my eye and got me pulling out my wallet and showing some bucks. P-Bandai's Star Build Strike version RG System. This post would be shorter since in reality it's the same HG Build Strike we know. And it can be found here.

First, whats in the box? The regular Star Build Package will include you the Blue Plabsky Wings together with the Star Build Strike unit so in order to complete your kit you have to separately buy the HGBF Universe Booster in order to get the Power Gate. And you'll end up having two Universe Booster. Now, in the P-Bandai version the kit includes both the Plavsky Wing and Power Gate inside the Box - it should have been that way in the first place. Next, ver RG runners are composed of Pearl coated runners, clear parts and not jsut celar but glittery clear parts and some normal parts. Yes, you read it right normal runners. The Pearl coated runners where for the white parts while the clear parts are for the arts that are colored blue and red and of course the Plavsky Wing and Power Gate. The normal runners are for the grey joints and mostly the gun. Now, what exactly did change? Well probably in the series Star Build Strike has this mode called "RG System" wherein he could generate and focus Plaavsky disperssions in some of its parts or somehow like that haha not pretty accurate huh? But yeah thats more to it, in order to identify it RG System has activated parts of it's frame turns to blue. Well, personally I liked this version with the removal of the Pearl coated parts though, doesn't look right with all that shine and stuff but the RG System parts were cool all in all. :)

The MBF-02+EW454F Strike Rouge Ootori is a variant of MBF-02 Strike Rouge and was exclusively featured in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny HD Remaster. The unit is primary piloted by the Princess of Orb, Cagalli Yula Athha.

EW454F Ootori Striker - The Ootori Striker is based on the P202QX IWSP (Integrated Weapons Striker Pack) and is also meant to allow a MS to handle various situations without changing equipment. However, it has a simpler structure leading to better reliability and ease of maintenance.

Bandai - HGBF 1/144 009 - GAT-X105B/ST Star Build Strike Gundam + Universe Booster Power Gate

Sei Iori's modified version of his own modified version of Strike Gundam, Star Build Strike. As we all know, If you do Watch the Series, we all know that this is one hell of a Unit. The First time we saw such a unit with such amazing features: Absorb System , Discharge System [ Discharge Rifle Mode, Discharge Speed Mode and Discharge Aqua Mode ] , Radial General Purpose System [RG System] and Universal Booster.

Now, If you are on a tight budget I do not recommend getting this kit. Why you say? But first let's see what do we really have in the Kit.

• You'll get a a Build Strike with it's conversion parts to Star Build Strike. What was change? actually the only thing change was a plate on it's leg.
• You'll also get 1 Rifle that can be changed into 3 Different Modes, 2 Beam Saber and Absorbing Shield - Absorbing Shield does not have any articulation instead you can change it's front palte to make it look opened.
• Universe Booster
• This Kit contains the Blue Plavsky Wings.
• A stand

Why Do I not recommend it? because of this, the HGBC 1/144 Universe Booster Plavsky Power Gate. This custom parts include the following.

• Universe Booster
• Power Gate - Yellow Circular thing
• The Same Rifle, Same Beam Saber, Same Absorbing Shield
• Build Strike Conversion parts to Star Build Strike

See what I mean? if you Have the first build Strike and happens to be in a tight budget, why not get the Universe Booster alone and Convert it since the only thing you'll be missing is the Blue Plavsky Wing. But how about if you do not own the first Build Strike, and just get the Star Build Strike - Actually it's fine but don't expect to get the same armament as the Build Strike have, note that kit has a lot of weapon. So I guess, Bandai's Marketing Strategy works that way. Well anyway I'm cool with - I can still use those extra part for other custom units that I plan. ^^

Universe Booster

So Here it is, now in attaching the Plavsky Wing, you have to remove those pick things attach to the Universe Booster and Lower Part of the Unit. Those little pink attachment can be attached to it's stand so you won't have a problem where to put it.

See this? this is the same part to convert your Build Strike to Star Build. The same Rifle Runner that is included in HGBF 009 and Stand.

So in conclusion, I only took those yellow runners in the bottom - Power Gate

Disappointed I may have been because I spend a lot on that Power Gate and knowing that It's content was the same, well atleast my Star Build Strike looks like a badass.

The ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam (aka Strike Freedom, Freedom) is the successor mobile suit of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom. Appearing in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, it is piloted by Kira Yamato. Wings of Light can be bought separately.

Note: Although I finished the story of Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, I never got hooked up to it.

Box, Manuals and a Full Burst Strike Freedom

Semi Full Burst, 2 cannons on the waist not raise. I could only do a minimal pose, due to the fact I broke the Cannons Side Skirt and had to glue it. T_T
